Юрій Ваткін, художник і філософ, майстерно втілює у своїх роботах діалог між дикою природою та метушнею міського життя. Його полотна, насичені тонами сільського пейзажу, відображають незламний зв'язок людини з природою, розповідаючи історії про глибоке проникнення в землю та пошуки гармонії в небі.

Exoticism in Vatkin's work is not limited to the depiction of distant lands, but is an invitation to the depths of the human psyche, where festivals become metaphors for the thirst for knowledge and the discovery of the unknown.
Тема війни у його творах переходить за межі зображення зовнішнього конфлікту, стаючи алегорією внутрішньої боротьби, де лінії резонансу ведуть нас від темряви до світла, від руйнації до відновлення. В його роботах природа, місто, село та середмістя зливаються в єдиний потік свідомості, що символізує вічний цикл життя, смерті та відродження.
The theme of war in his works goes beyond the depiction of external conflict, becoming an allegory of internal struggle, where lines of resonance lead us from darkness to light, from destruction to restoration. In his works, nature, city, village and downtown merge into a single stream of consciousness, symbolizing the eternal cycle of life, death and rebirth.

Юрій Ваткін — це не просто художник, а філософ, що роздумує над загадками буття за допомогою пензля, запрошуючи нас розділити із ним цей процес перетворення та відчути ритм життя у всіх його проявах.
Yuri Vatkin is not just an artist, but a philosopher who reflects on the mysteries of existence with the help of a brush, inviting us to share this process of transformation with him and feel the rhythm of life in all its manifestations.
Yurii Vatkin was born in 1975 in Dnipropetrovsk, and in 1977 his family moved to Kharkiv. At a young age, the future artist developed an interest in art and produced countless drawings that showed great promise. At 14, Yuriy met a prominent Kharkiv graphic artist and excellent teacher Oleksandr Bragin, from whom Yuriy, a budding artist, took private lessons.
Two years later, at 16, Vatkin became a student at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts. In his work as an accomplished artist, Yuriy Vatkin is guided by emotions and intuition. He neither follows the fashion nor puts himself in opposition to society. He likes to express his thoughts and feelings through oil on canvas, stimulating his viewer’s imagination and taking them along for the ride.
